An annual checkup and recommended screenings can identify problems before they develop into something more serious.

Dr. Brian Neely, family physician with Allen County Regional Hospital, says it's important to have an honest conversation with your primary care provider to determine how to be proactive in your health care decisions.

He spoke with the Iola Register about recommendations and guidelines for screenings to help keep you healthy and prevent and emergency.
