While usually a very happy time, pregnancy can be stressful for women. Imagine dealing with that, while also being diagnosed with breast cancer. And, just to make it really challenging, throw in getting sick with COVID-19.
Roshonda Faggett, only 32, was six months pregnant when she found a lump in her breast. She reached out to her OB-Gyn at Saint Luke's, Dr. Ingenue Cobbinah, who got her in for a biopsy. Roshonda was diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer.
A year later, Roshonda is in remission and celebrating her youngest son, Davion, turning one-year-old.
