Thursday, the annual Books & Boutiques event put on by Saint Luke's Foundation raised money for the cardiovascular program at Saint Luke's South Hospital.

Acclaimed Kansas author Sarah Smarsh spoke about her book, She Come By It Natural: Dolly Parton and the Women Who Lived Her Songs. Attendees shopped 12 local boutiques, which all donated a portion of their proceeds to the cardiovascular program.
