New parents look forward to celebrating their baby's first holidays. But everything changes when your baby is born prematurely. Some local families who are spending Halloween in the neonatal intensive care unit are getting a special surprise.

Saint Luke's Hospital of Kansas City joined together with March of Dimes to help families in the NICU celebrate Halloween. March of Dimes volunteer photographers captured the adorable trick-or-treaters in keepsake photos for their families.

KMBC talked with a mom about how special it was seeing her baby all dressed up.
