Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, Saint Luke’s Health System is committed to providing exceptional care for all patients and a safe and healthy atmosphere for our team.

The push is on to get everyone to get a flu shot. While protecting against influenza is important every year, this year with COVID-19 there is new urgency.

That's because symptoms are similar for the two viruses, although the course of treatment is not.

KMBC talked to Dr. Marc Larsen, Director of Operations for Saint Luke's COVID Response Team and emergency physician, about why the flu shot and testing are even more important this flu season.
