A patient doing physical, occupational, and speech therapy at Saint Luke's Rehabilitation Institute in Overland Park received a surprise visit from two Kansas City Current players who heard about his story and wanted to encourage him with his recovery.

When Doug Beats, a field technician for heavy equipment, came to The Rehab Institute he was on a feeding tube and couldn't walk, talk, or use his left arm from his injuries.
