March is Colon Cancer Awareness Month, and doctors want people to know they're seeing a rising trend of the cancer in younger adults.

Meghan Gatoff found out she had colon cancer when she was just 39 years old.

KMBC talked to Gatoff and Dr. Megan McNally, surgical oncologist at Saint Luke's Health System, about what warning signs to look for and what you can do to help prevent it.
