KSHB was given access to take a look inside one of Saint Luke's Hospital of Kansas City's ICU units that is caring for COVID-19 patients, as well as a look in the Emergency Department. 

Dr. Andrew Schlachter, pulmonologist and critical care physician, and Dr. Marc Larsen, emergency physician, spoke to Dan Cohen about what they are seeing in the latest surge of COVID-19. 

Over the next several days, Dan Cohen will be telling the story of what is happening behind the closed doors of a Saint Luke's COVID ICU unit and in the Emergency Department.
