A Missouri pastor is sharing his story about why he became a living kidney donor in hopes of encouraging others to consider organ donation.

Jack Coultas donated his kidney to church member Jeremy Whitham last year after hearing the family's prayers.

KSHB talked to Dr. Eddie Island, Jeremy's transplant surgeon at Saint Luke's Health System, about the importance of generous donors like Jack.
