Two Missouri women share a lifelong bond through the gift of an organ.

In 2013, Amy Connell donated part of her liver to Christine Hertzog, who needed a transplant after neuroendocrine carcinoma of the pancreas spread to her liver. 

Now, the women say their journey has come full circle after Amy recently became a liver transplant coordinator at Saint Luke's Hospital to help other people before and after transplant in her professional life.

KSHB talked to Amy and Christine about their story and why others should consider becoming organ donors.
