St. Joseph News-Press: Quick testing helps first responders in Trenton and Chillicothe

Saint Luke's is providing drive-thru testing for first responders in Grundy and Livingston counties, as well as those across the Kansas City metro.

Testing is being offered at Wright Memorial Hospital in Trenton and Hedrick Medical Center in Chillicothe.

St. Joseph News-Press talked to Steve Schieber, CEO of Saint Luke's Critical Access Region, about the process.

"The drive-thru location has been very effective because it allows protection of the patient, but also our staff and the community at large, to really be able to coordinate in an isolated manner the individual's testing so no one is exposed," Schieber said.
