For some, the past year has been an opportunity to pause and reflect. For others, it has been a time for survival and change. 

The Kansas City Beacon talked to Kansas Citians about how their lives have changed over the past year of the pandemic, including Saint Luke's Bishop Spencer Place resident Mary Moore. 

Moore explains how her earlier life helped prepare her and how it felt to get the COVID-19 vaccine in January.
