Registered Nurse – Float Pool, PRN
The Opportunity:
Saint Luke’s Medical Group in Kansas City is seeking an experienced Float Pool RN to join our team. This is a hands-on Clinic Nurse position where you will perform triage, provide patient education and review lab results, help with point of care labs, room patients, and assist with in office procedures and wound care in a fast-paced environment providing care to a variety of patients and conditions. You will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with medical staff and other disciplines to provide and enhance patient care.

The Work:
Utilizes the nursing process throughout the provision of walk-in/urgent care
Delegates patient care tasks and supervises other patient care staff (MA, Clinic Navigator)
Coordinates the care of patients and consults other disciplines of the health care team as indicated
Adheres to all nursing policies and standards and proactively strives to maintain and improve quality outcomes
Facilitates patient care, anticipates patient care needs, individualizes patient care and adjusts or modifies the nursing plan of care as appropriate
Possesses and utilizes effective technical skills for the provision of safe and appropriate care (i.e. pharmacological knowledge, assessment skills, etc.)
We are seeking nurses who possess strong communication, multi-tasking, and teamwork skills.
To be successful in this role, you will need to be a registered nurse who is able to work in a busy team atmosphere autonomously and as a team. We are seeking patient centered, self-driven nurses who are committed to providing exceptional patient care, enjoys hands on patient care, and has strong communication skills. This ideal candidate will be a RN who makes the patient experience a top priority, is flexible, compassionate, and team focused.
