The Opportunity:
Saint Luke’s Crittenton Children’s Center in South Kansas City is seeking a Director of Quality and Regulatory to join our team. You will have direct influence in improving the safety of children. This role proactively pursues opportunities to improve organizational performance by leading in agency-wide quality outcomes, activities, and providing structure and direction for clinical improvements, patient safety, and risk reduction.
This position is a hybrid remote position. While the majority of work is completed in office, we provide a flexible approach that allows you to split time between working in the office and from home.
The Work:
· Responsible for oversight and direction of organization wide Joint Commission compliance initiatives
· Facilitates compliance with regulatory standards
· Responsible for patient advocacy and responds immediately to the needs of a patient or patient’s family in dealing with problems or crises and recommends corrective action or policy changes
· Works closely with senior administrators, medical staff, Health Information, Privacy Coordinator, and others to ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements
· Chairs and serves on entity level committees and task forces as assigned
· Serves as a member of Administrative Council and contributes to the annual strategic planning process
We are seeking an effective communicator and strong leader with joint commission and survey audit experience. The ideal candidate will have experience in quality, data analytics, and patient care. Because this position has a direct influence in improving the safety of children and improving organizational performance, a strong emphasis in direct patient experience is preferred.
