Job Description​

Equipment Associate - Saint Luke’s Hospital (Plaza Location) 

 

The Opportunity:  

Saint Luke’s Hospital, our Plaza location, is seeking an Equipment Associate to join our team. In this position you will be responsible for: receiving product, delivering departmental supplies, stocking inventoried supplies, picking and staging supplies to fill par levels and departmental orders, managing out-dates, accurately and timely managing code carts and other critical procedure carts replenishment, locating recalled items and process for return shipment, maintaining departmental orderliness, rotating stock, cycle counting inventory, annual physical inventory, and all other duties assigned.

Shift Details: 

  • Full-time position 

  • Rotating weekends (Every other weekend)     

  • Rotating holidays  

 

The Work:     

  • Receive and distribute incoming shipments from vendors.  

  • Research solve and correct Receiving problems.  

  • Process product returns to vendors.  

  • Restock issue and distribute warehoused stock to internal customers.  

  • Participate in scheduled and unscheduled pick-ups and delivery of supplies, equipment, mail, etc. to other facilities offices and clinics throughout the Health System.  

  • Conduct and or coordinate the move of offices clinics or departments that involve the moving of equipment and furniture.  

  • Utilize UPS Federal Express and truck lines for shipping needs.  

  • Pick up store and retrieve records.  

  • Perform required documentation and clerical tasks.  

  • Nearly all tasks require knowledge of and confidence in basic computer skills particularly in a Windows environment.  

  • Other skills required: proper handling of supplies & equipment, the safe & effective operation of warehouse and materials handling equipment. 

  • Basic math skills and clerical skills.
