As a Med Surg Intermediate RN at Hedrick Medical Center, you will provide care to patients from pediatrics to geriatrics with various conditions, acuity levels and treatment plans. Some of these include but not limited to; post-operative, acute care, and skilled care. You will be responsible for assessments, assist with call lights, pass medications, bed side report, admissions and discharges.
You will have the opportunity to train in other specialty areas and float to other areas of the hospital as needed. It is a great place to learn a variety of specialties and expand your nursing skills. This is a multidisciplinary, collaborative and resourceful team that supports each other and work together for the common goal of providing exceptional patient care and improved patient outcomes.
