In this role, you will be responsible for providing protection and safety of staff, visitors and patients, preserving the peace, maintaining parking and traffic control, and providing numerous services that enhance the customer/ patient experience.
You will have the opportunity to assist with various procedures and will have the opportunity to expand your skills in various areas including, but not limited to:

Responsibilities:
Ensuring the safety of all patients, visitors, and employees.
Monitoring alarm systems and security cameras.
Making regular rounds to inspect buildings, grounds, and parking lots.
Preparing logs and reports of all unusual activities in addition to filing maintenance requests for dangerous or malfunctioning situations.
Completing light maintenance duties.
Escorting patients and employees.
To be successful in this role, you will need to be kind, courteous and respectful. We are seeking an experienced security professional who is accountable, punctual and professional. You will need to stay calm under pressure and maintain a positive attitude at all times. The ideal candidate will have 1 – 2 years of experience with prior law enforcement, security, loss prevention, homeland security corrections, or military. You will need to be qualified to obtain KCPD Private Commissions License and other respective law enforcement agency commission(s) and also MO Class E Driver’s License, if applicable. Strong communication, problem solving, team work and customer service skills is needed.
