Job Description​

The Opportunity: 

Saint Luke’s Hospital in Kansas City, MO is seeking Materials Supervisor to join our team. This role will give you the opportunity to provides supervision of the staff and daily supply chain operations in procedural areas by ensuring service goals are met in a timely manner. This position is responsible for complying with hospital and departmental policies and procedures. Complies and sets the example for OSHA, FDA, AHRMM, JC leading practices. to help ensure our vision to be, “The Best Place to Get Care. The Best Place to Give Care.” 

Shift Details: Monday- Friday 7:30am-4:00pm

The Work:

• Responsible for identifying service and performance opportunities and takes action to ensure follow through.

• Responsibility for inventory management of sterile core supplies, par carts, specialty carts, room stock, etc.

• Focuses on efforts to maximize quality, minimize costs, and work towards system goals

• Communicates effectively and professionally at all levels. Computer proficient, must be comfortable learning and managing multiple systems.

• Leads, coaches, engages team in a manner that is consistent with SLH mission, vision, values.

• Acts as a liaison between clinical staff, supply chain staff and third-party vendors.

• Directly responsible for onboarding new supply chain staff, approving time off, payroll, annual reviews, and employee engagement.
