Job Description
The Opportunity:
Saint Luke’s East in Lee’s Summit, MO is seeking a Registered Nurse for our Level II Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. You will provide care primarily for NICU patients, but may float over to Labor and Delivery, Mom Baby, and post GYN Surgical Care to assist as needed. Our services range from low intervention, natural childbirth with our certified nurse midwife, to high-tech care for high-risk pregnancies. This position will give you variety in your work and the opportunity to participate in continuous improvement initiatives.

Shift Details: Full Time Night
The Work:
Utilizes the nursing process
Performs patient care, delegates patient care tasks, and supervises patient care staff
Coordinates the plan of care for a group of assigned patients and consults with other members of the health care team when indicated to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Demonstrates proficiency and abides by policies rules guidelines and procedures
Completes thorough assessments, performs medication administration, develops a holistic plan of care, drain management, post-procedural or post-operative management

We are looking for professionals who are eager to expand their skills and provide care to a diverse patient population with a variety of treatment plans.
