Job Description​

Equipment Associate - Saint Luke’s Hospital (Plaza Location) 

 

The Opportunity:  

Saint Luke’s Hospital, our Plaza location, is seeking an Equipment Associate to join our team. In this position you will be responsible for: receiving product, delivering departmental supplies, stocking inventoried supplies, picking and staging supplies to fill par levels and departmental orders, managing out-dates, accurately and timely managing code carts and other critical procedure carts replenishment, locating recalled items and process for return shipment, maintaining departmental orderliness, rotating stock, cycle counting inventory, annual physical inventory, and all other duties assigned.

Shift Details: 

  • Full-time position 

  • Five day work week 

  • Shift times - 1:00pm to 9:30pm 

  • Work week – Monday to Friday 

  • Rotating weekends (Every other weekend) 

  • Rotating holidays 

 

The Work:     

  • Clean equipment and replenish to PAR levels.  

  • Order specialty beds, deliver and retrieve when patient done.  

  • Exchange and rebuild Code Carts and Respiratory Boxes etc.

  • Clean and disinfect medical equipment between patient use to assure it is ready for next patient use.   

  • Able to operate a hand pallet jack.  

  • Able to utilize various electronic devices for order taking & must have good customer service skills  

  • May also be asked, from time to time, to work at other SLHS CS locations   

We are seeking an Equipment Associate for Central Supply with a take charge attitude, as well as great communication skills – written and oral. To be successful in this role you will need to be able to adapt to and become knowledgeable of numerous software applications.  This position will be standing / walking the majority of the day while pushing and cleaning carts / equipment.
