Job Description​

This Epic Beaker Analyst II position is 100% remote and will be responsible for implementations, upgrades, reporting, build, trouble shooting of complex challenges, testing, and issue resolution for Beaker, Blood Bank and other laboratory applications. This position will work collaboratively with internal customers and external vendors to improve internal processes, and workflows.

The ideal candidate will be certified in CP clinical pathology or AP anatomic pathology

This a great opportunity to work with leading technology and lead multiple projects simultaneously while working collaboratively with top performing teams to drive performance and continuous improvement.

The Work

  • This position provides IT support to assigned systems as a subject matter expert and secondary support to other systems.

  • This includes Epic Healthy Planet application, in addition to other systems that will support the Population Health Team.

  • Position researches and writes design specifications, flowcharts, and test scripts.

  • Position acquires and organizes source material including applicable specifications and technical writeups.

  • Coordinates the system implementation, updates and fixes with the Population Health department, ensuring satisfactory results.

  • May participate in smaller-scope portions of a larger project as assigned.

  • Responsible for end users’ training on assigned systems, as needed.

  • Works with vendors, depending on systems assigned, on technical requests.

  • Assists with the development and execution of test plans in cooperation with the project team.

  • May also be responsible for report writing in applications.

  • Completes other duties as assigned.
