Job Description​

The Opportunity:

We are hiring a full-time Night Shift RN for our Critical Care Float Pool team. This position will float between 2-3 of our 4 main locations. These locations are at the Plaza, Lee's Summit, North Kansas City and Overland Park.

Shift Details:

Night shift 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. 7 days per week

Schedules are written 8 – 10 weeks in advance.

The Work:

This position is accountable for utilizing the nursing process. Responsible for performing patient care delegating patient care tasks and for supervision of other patient care staff. Responsible for coordinating the plan of care for a group of assigned patients and consulting with other members of the health care team when indicated to ensure optimal patient outcomes. This clinical nurse demonstrates proficiency and abides by policies rules guidelines and procedures.

The Float Pool is a cohesive team that supports one another and possesses strong communication skills. We have experienced a lot of growth in the last few years and are proud of our retention rate.

Applicable Experience:

Advanced Cardiac Life Support - American Heart Association or Red Cross, Basic Life Support - American Heart Association or Red Cross, Registered Nurse - Various, Trauma Nurse Core Course - Emergency Nurse Association
