The Opportunity:

Shift:
We are looking for a highly qualified and career-minded Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to work with our independent living residents. This is a PRN position that offers six hours every weekend with the potential for more hours to cover PTO for our full-time LPN’S.
The Work:
Our LPN's provide direct nursing care to residents and supervise the day-to-day nursing activities performed by our caregivers. Specific job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
· Administration of professional nursing services and medication to independent living residents. Ensuring residents receive services in accordance with their care plan.
· Assisting with new admissions and discharges.
· Consulting with residents, family members, and physicians in planning the resident’s care, treatment, and rehabilitation.
· Medication administration.
· Visiting residents to observe and evaluate their physical and emotional status.
· Notifying the attending physician and next-of-kin when there is a change in the resident’s condition.
· Reporting problem areas to the Clinical Director.
· Demonstrating excellent customer service skills and professional demeanor at all times.
