Social Worker – Part Time, Days
The Opportunity:
Saint Luke’s North Hospital Barry Road – Location is seeking a Social Worker to work with self-pay patients. You will be responsible and accountable for assessing the psychological, social, emotional, cultural, or financial needs that impact patient’s health and recovery.
The Work:
Provides professional social work services that utilize supportive counseling and clinical knowledge in assessing the needs of patients and families during illness crisis intervention and post discharge planning
Collaborates with members of health care team in the development of a transition plan and addresses needs in a timely manner
Participate in program planning and development to meet the needs of customers within the health care system and community
Requirements include a Missouri LMSW Social Work license and a Master's Degree in Social Work. Prefer hospital experience in Social Work.
