Social Worker – Part Time, Days

The Opportunity:

Saint Luke’s North Hospital Barry Road – Location is seeking a Social Worker to work with self-pay patients. You will be responsible and accountable for assessing the psychological, social, emotional, cultural, or financial needs that impact patient’s health and recovery.

The Work:

• Provides professional social work services that utilize supportive counseling and clinical knowledge in assessing the needs of patients and families during illness crisis intervention and post discharge planning

• Collaborates with members of health care team in the development of a transition plan and addresses needs in a timely manner

• Participate in program planning and development to meet the needs of customers within the health care system and community

Requirements include a Missouri LMSW Social Work license and a Master's Degree in Social Work. Prefer hospital experience in Social Work.
