We are hiring an Advanced Practice Provider for general surgery team at Saint Luke's North Campus. Advanced practice provider may also be asked to travel to Saint Luke's East, Plaza or South locations as needed with the primary campus/ work location being Saint Luke's North.
The Advanced Practice Provider will primarily function as a first assist in the OR with the general surgery team of three surgeons, but also be responsible to assist with inpatient rounding and possibly with clinic patients. Advanced Practice Provider must have first assist certification or training. Position may require call.
Accountable for advanced nursing practice in the care of assigned patient populations. Responsible for collecting and analyzing client health data identifies appropriate expected outcomes development and implement plan of care provide comprehensive clinical coordination of care and case management provide consultation to influence plan of care for clients enhance the abilities of others and effect change in the system uses prescriptive authority procedures and treatments in accordance with state and federal laws and regulations evaluate clients progress in attaining expected outcomes conduct nursing research provide education to patient family and nursing staff and case manages high risk patients. Must be dual licensed in Kansas and Missouri
BLS required through American Heart Association or American Red Cross
Advanced Practice Provider must have first assist certification or training.
