Job Description
The Opportunity:
Saint Luke’s Crittenton Children’s Center in South Kansas City, MO is seeking an experienced Licensed Psychologist to join our collaborative team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to render accurate diagnoses and treatment recommendations. Your experience and expertise in performing psychological evaluations will guide continued treatment. This PRN position will provide you flexibility in your work schedule, with no set hours, working as needed. This position will provide for some coverage on weekends.
The Work:
Provides individual group and family therapy as well as case management services
This position recommends and implements general therapeutic interventions both for individual clients and for overall program development
Functions as the therapist for patients and families with the psychiatrist as clinical team leader and will provide for additional work functions in the areas of Intake and Utilization Management
This position will require the skills necessary to develop communication systems that triage workloads on a daily basis
This position will additionally have developed the skill set necessary to provide for the full range of admission discharge throughout the Star system and Midas
We are seeking Licensed Psychologists with experience performing psychological evaluations for children. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of the system and processes of mental health care, along with being Trauma informed. We are seeking someone with great communication skills, who is able to connect and gain the confidence of children and adolescents in a short time. To be successful in this role, you must be inquisitive, detail oriented, efficient, and adaptable. This position requires you to work in a team atmosphere as well as autonomously.
