The Opportunity:

Saint Luke’s North Hospital is hiring for a Float Pool Nurse to provide coverage for various units including Medical Surgical, Progressive Care, Telemetry, Rehabilitation, and Adult Behavioral Health Units throughout our Barry Road and Smithville locations. Our Barry Road location is Stroke and STEMI Certified. You will be provided all the training and resources needed to support all of these different specialties. This role provides care to patients with various medical conditions, treatment plans, and acuity levels. At Saint Luke's we're dedicated to striving for excellence in patient care.

In this position you will receive additional compensation/hourly differential for floating. 

Shift Details: 7 am to 7 pm

The Work:

· Utilizes the nursing process

· Performs patient care, delegating patient care tasks and for supervision of other patient care staff

· Coordinates the plan of care for a group of assigned patients and consulting with other members of the health care team when indicated to ensure optimal patient outcomes

· Demonstrates proficiency and abides by policies, rules, guidelines and procedures
