Biostatistician - Cardiovascular Outcomes Research

Provides statistical support for research and operational activities. Consults and collaborates with researchers on design, planning and analysis of research studies. Performs a variety of standard biostatistical analyses. Prepares, maintains and documents analysis data sets. Determines and develops appropriate tools for managing data. Develops specifications for analysis files, consistency checks, tables and figures. Interacts directly with sponsors, investigators, etc. on study design, data and analytic issues. Organizes and interprets analytic results and collaborates on preparation of abstracts, manuscripts and associated presentations at national and international meetings. Keeps current with relevant statistical methodologies. Participates in seminars, journal clubs and collaborates on methodologic developments with other biostatistics staff.
