Job Description
Saint Luke's Hospital in Kansas City, MO has an opportunity for a Cashier in our Nutrition Services Department. This position is responsible for all cash handling processes within the Cafeteria while performing the duties of cashier. This includes the task of accounting for all monies received and dispensed from the cash drawer and maintaining the established cash par levels in the assigned bank. This position also includes active participation in the workflow in the Nutrition Service Department including but not limited to simple preparation delivery and or service of food meals snacks supplements etc to customers. Workflow includes set up clean up and sanitation of work areas dishes wares and or equipment inventory control product rotation labeling and safe food handling practices. Is accountable for operations when the Manager and work leaders are not available.
