Job Description​

The Pulmonary clinic on the plaza is seeking a RN/LPN to join their team! This is a fast-paced environment and requires someone to be able to manage multiple tasks. The ideal candidate will be able to handle the pace with a positive attitude, be a strong team player, and help ensure our patients know they are a top priority.

We are seeking a nurse who can help guide the clinical support team for a team of providers, direct patient care both in person and over the phone, and be a key player for sleep and pulmonary therapies. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication, time management, and delegation skills. Previous pulmonary experience is helpful but not required.

KS & MO RN License required; if the ideal candidate does not possess dual licensure at time of offer, he/she may be given an offer contingent upon completion of dual licensure within 90 days of start. Schedule Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm. The entire job description is below.

Provides professional nursing care for clinic patients following established standards and practices. Responsible for screening walk-in patients, telephone screening (with protocols), medication/injection education, assist with procedures, cleaning wounds, dressing changes, suctioning, tracheostomy care, biopsies, and other duties as assigned by respective clinic . Able to work in a team atmosphere, as well as, autonomously. Excellent customer service skills and professional demeanor at all times. Delegates tasks to unlicensed assistive personnel UAP in accordance with demonstrated competencies and consideration to Scope of Practice. May be responsible for covering Medical Assistant job duties as needed.

Basic Life Support - American Heart Association or Red Cross, Registered Nurse (KS) - National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NURSYS), Registered Nurse (MO) - National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NURSYS)
