Saint Luke’s Health System Cardiology clinic is looking for a Certified Medical Assistant to join their team!
This position will support the East Cardiology team at our Lee Summit, MO campus. The ideal candidate will be able to handle the pace with a positive attitude, be a strong team player, and help ensure our patients know they are your priority.
This position is part time, 2 days a week with 10 hour shifts (7AM- 5:30PM), with no holidays or weekends.
Specific duties include
· Provide an excellent patient experience by managing the flow of patients, providing excellent customer service, establishing rapport with patients and maintaining a professional demeanor.
· Conduct Pre-visit plans, room patients and obtain vitals
· Administer injections and coordinate vaccines
· Assist providers with procedures
· Utilize the EMR system and scan/download documents
· Conduct telephone screening (with protocols)
· Cover front office responsibilities as needed
