Staff Chaplain provides direct spiritual care, crisis and emotional support to patients, their families, interdisciplinary team members, staff and volunteers, with attention to diverse spiritual orientations and cultures. Participate in pager/Voalte coverage, the overnight On-Call rotation, and interdisciplinary team meetings. The Staff Chaplain offers education and fosters conversation and clarification on cultural, ethical, religious, and other topics/dynamics that can affect patient care, family interactions, and interdisciplinary team performance/resiliency. Assist the Clinical Pastoral Educators (ACPE,Inc.) in training Clinical Pastoral Education Interns and Residents in clinical skills and provision of spiritual care by serving as Preceptor. Must be Board Certified with BCCI/APC, NAJC, NACC, or CASC or BCCI eligible and Certified within 2 yrs of date of hire.
