Job Description​

The Chief Financial Officer of Saint Luke’s Physician Group is responsible for planning organizing and directing all functions related to financial management, budgeting, accounting, reimbursement, etc. of SLPG. This position will work closely with the SLHS CFO Council to establish and implement policies and procedures related to accounting practices. This position will exercise management responsibility over SLPG ensuring that efficient services practices are designed to meet the needs of the patients, staff, physicians, and the public. Directs the development of the organization to ensure future growth. A CPA designation will substitute for a Masters.

This position has oversight of Physician Compensation and Contracts, Patient Access and Business Intelligence. In addition, this position works in partnership with the SLHS VP of Revenue Cycle to oversee revenue cycle operations.

The Chief Financial Officer of SLPG reports directly to the SLHS SVP CFO and Administration, and is matrixed to the CEO of SLPG.

Responsible for planning organizing and directing all functions related to financial management, budgeting, accounting, reimbursement, etc. of SLPG.

Work closely with the SLHS CFO Council to establish and implement policies and procedures related to accounting practices.

Exercise management responsibility over SLPG ensuring that efficient services are designed to meet the needs of the patients, staff, physicians and the public.

Directs the financial development of the organization to ensure future growth.

Preparation of the annual SLPG budget in collaboration with the division chairs and operations directors.

Analyzes, prepares and presents monthly financial statements to the CEO and Board of Directors.

Ensure compliance with fiscal governmental reporting requirements including tax reporting.

Oversight of the Director of Physician Compensation and Contracts to evaluate physician compensation and manage other contracting activities for physician services.

Ensure that compensation models and practices comply with federal and state law.

Negotiation and contract review of professional service agreements with external organizations.

Evaluation and contracting for administrative service agreements within SLHS.

Management of physician and APP workforce tracking to align with budget, hospital and clinic needs.

Oversight of the Director of Patient Access for SLPG and development of central patient access center to provide key services to patients.

Oversight of the Business Intelligence Partner to provide advanced data analytics for operational and financial analysis and improvement.

Oversight of the SLPG Finance Manager to assist division chairs and departments in budgeting and financial management.

Management of capital expenditures, construction projects and space utilization in leased clinics.

Partner with SLHS VP of Revenue Cycle to oversee Director of Physician Revenue Cycle.

Evaluation of pricing and RVU valuation for services provided and other matters related to physician coding, billing and collections.

**CPA can be in lieu of a Master's Degree**
