Cook – Saint Luke’s South (our Overland Park location) – Fulltime Day Shift
The Opportunity:
Saint Luke’s South in Overland Park is seeking a Cook to be responsible for the active participation in the workflow in the Nutrition Service Department including, but not limited to: preparation, delivery, or service to customers. Your experience and expertise in Food Services will allow you to successfully serve a diverse population of customers. Our priority is patient care in that we interact with patients daily and have the opportunity to bring something positive to their day to ensure Saint Luke’s is “The Best Place To Get Care, The Best Place To Give Care.”
Shift Details:
Full time position
Shift Times - 5:30am to 2pm
Work Week – Monday to Friday
Rotating Weekends (every other weekend)
The Work:
Set up, food preparation, clean up, and sanitation of work areas, dishes, wares, or equipment
Accountable for operations when the Manager and Work Leaders are not available
We are looking for someone that is excited about working with people and has a positive attitude, strong customer service skills, willingness to work, flexibility, ability to work without any guidance, eager to learn, not afraid to ask questions, can be on your feet all day, and is a team player.
