The Cardiovascular Specialist specializes in planning and providing care for patients undergoing diagnostic cardiac catheterization interventional cardiac catheterization pacemaker and automatic internal cardiac defibrillator implants peripheral vascular interventions structural heart disease interventions and other procedures involving the cardiac and vascular systems. Incumbents in this position assist physicians by implementing and performing a cardiac catheterization plan of care using standards of A.O.R.N. aseptic technique cardiac and peripheral anatomy and physiology radiographic imaging technique and principles of cardiovascular technology. The position requires multi-campus work and multi-campus call.
