Saint Luke’s Health System is looking for a Director of Resource Management Strategic Sourcing to lead our award-winning strategic sourcing team. Our team is nationally placed for our clinically integrated supply chain and ranked 4th out of 600 major health systems related to accuracy and management of our data that leads our decision-making process in strategic sourcing. In this role, you will have the opportunity to both lead and support this team by facilitating specific programs and services to optimize non salaried expense reduction efforts. Our goal is to be the Best Place to Get Care and the Best Place to Give Care. You will have the opportunity to support this vision by strategically minimizing expenses incurred by the Health System.
Responsibilities:
Primary facilitator of all strategic sourcing and resource management interactions with Saint Luke’s non acute locations.
Effectively communicate with senior level leadership, vendors, and staff.
Participate and communicate effectively with Value Analysis Committee leadership, Strategic Sourcing Group, department operational managers.
Leverage system wide economies of scale to optimize expenses.
Responsible for ensuring that assigned Resource Management teams achieve operational quality and savings goals while fairly representing the needs of all entities and maintaining the Saint Luke’s mission and core values.
Commitment to staff education and development.
We are seeking a confident and experienced resource management leader focused on strategic planning for our health system. We have a strong team in place and need a leader that will be able to enhance the team’s capabilities in our current healthcare environment. To be successful in this role, you will need to have a minimum of 10 years of experience leading a healthcare resource management team and strategic plan. You will need to be solutions focused, forward thinking and a strong communicator.
This position will work out of our System offices in Kansas City. Relocation assistance is available for this position. Saint Luke’s System Offices support the Health Systems’ 18 hospitals and campuses across the Kansas City region, home care and hospice, behavioral health care, dozens of physician practices, a life care senior living community, and more.
