Job Description​

The Director of Revenue Integrity works across the organization, collaborating with Managed Care, Finance, Information Technology and clinical teams to ensure accurate, timely and compliant revenue posting and reimbursement.  This position manages the revenue integrity program including charge master to ensure compliance with Federal and State regulations.  This role is responsible for developing and implementing price setting methodology and procedures.  Responsible for coordinating all changes made to the CDM and ensuring the CDM policies and procedures are followed. Ensure timely review of regulatory requirements and implement necessary changes to ensure compliance.  Leads the development, implementation and oversight of Revenue Integrity policies and procedures.  Oversees and evaluates staff for performance productivity and attendance concerns. Works in close partnership with business operations and clinical departments to achieve hospital and system goals. Takes leadership role in planning, developing, implementing, and evaluating revenue integrity projects. Utilizes a collaborative approach in identifying opportunities for process improvement and systems integration.  The position reports to the Vice President of Revenue Cycle. 

The Director of Revenue Integrity is responsible for system-level strategic planning and execution in the following areas:

  • Charge Description Master (CDM) maintenance, compliance, and auditing.
  • Revenue generation, reconciliation, and reporting.
  • Short and long-term strategic pricing.
  • Education:  Bachelor’s degree in health care administration, business/management, finance, nursing, or a directly related field is required.
  • Preferred Experience:  Five (5) years of experience in revenue cycle operations or related healthcare experience with three (3) years of leadership experience.
