Job Description
The Opportunity:
Saint Luke’s North Hospital of Kansas City is seeking an experienced Critical Response Registered Nurse to join our nationally recognized team. As a RN on this team, you will have the opportunity to respond to critical situations in all areas of the hospital including: code blue, stroke, STEMI, rapid response, crisis intervention, vascular access, critical care patient transport, and more. Saint Luke’s North Hospital is Stroke and STEMI Certified and is recognized by the American Heart Association for its Stroke and STEMI Outcomes.
The Shift:
This is a full-time night shift position working 7 p.m. to 7 a.m.
The Work:
Perform rounding and education on all units within the hospital
Function independently and accountable for utilizing the nursing process
Coordinate the care for a group of patients with the Multidisciplinary Team
Delegate tasks appropriately
Identify hospital resources and perform resource planning.
Serve as a clinical resource for new and current employees
Demonstrate positive formal or informal leadership within unit or department
3 years ICU RN or ER RN experience strongly preferred
