The Opportunity:

Saint Luke’s Bishop Spencer Place as a fantastic opportunity for a full-time Clinical Intake Coordinator who will be responsible for screening and admitting potential skilled nursing residents.
The ideal candidate will be a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), but consideration will also be given to applicants with previous skilled nursing admissions experience.
The Work:
Our Clinical Intake Coordinator performs several critical functions including:
Maintaining an accurate record of available beds and resident census.
Communicating the availability of open spaces with potential referral sources.
Receiving and screening medical information regarding the needs of prospective referrals and determining their suitability for obtaining care within the community.
Providing prospective residents and family members with guided tours of skilled nursing and other areas within Bishop Spencer Place.
Interviewing residents (and/or guardians) to obtaining required admissions information.
Reviewing rates and billing procedures.
Providing residents with the admissions information packet.
Making logistical arrangements to transfer new residents to the community.
Maintaining resident waiting list.
All other duties as assigned.
