Job Description​

  • The EP Technologist assists the EP Specialists in providing care for patients undergoing diagnostic electrophysiology studies radiofrequency ablations implantable device procedures and extractions. Incumbents in this position assist physicians by implementing and performing a cardiac catheterization plan of care using standards of A.O.R.N. aseptic technique cardiac and peripheral anatomy and physiology radiographic imaging technique standards of nursing care and principles of cardiovascular technology

    Saint Luke’s Hospital is a primary teaching hospital for the University of Missouri–Kansas City School of Medicine, which includes a physician residency program.

    This position requires multi-campus including rotations to Saint Luke's East Hospital and Saint Luke's Hospital. Experience as an Electrophysiology Specialist or Cardiovascular Lab Specialist preferred.

Advanced Cardiac Life Support - American Heart Association or Red Cross, Basic Life Support - American Heart Association or Red Cross
