Job Description​

The Opportunity:

Saint Luke's on the Plaza is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) Clinical Scheduling coordinator for our EP & Cath Labs.

The Shift:

This is a full-time day shift position working Monday through Friday work 4 9 hour shifts per week. The one day off per week is organized between team members.

The Work:

• CV Schedulers complete all of the Cath lab and EP lab scheduling for across the system
• Serves as an agent to improve customer service and provide a layer of safety throughout the scheduling process.
• Delegates tasks appropriately.
• Responsible for all training of new employees in this area.
• Responsible for customer service and safety in scheduling for CV procedures throughout SLHS. Assesses, develops a scheduling plan, reviews that plan with the multidisciplinary team and implements the plan for scheduling, ensuring the patient is scheduled at the correct location, and the correct day and time.
• Utilizes the Appropriate Use Criteria for all imaging modalities for the selection of the correct imaging study.
• Participates regularly in the evaluation of the scheduling process to ensure the patient is placed in the safest environment possible.
• Evaluates resources needed to safely perform the designated procedure requiring advanced clinical knowledge, critical thinking and communication skills.
• Previous CV or EP nursing experience strongly preferred
• Must be detail orientated able to multi-task be organized and have strong chart review skills
• Ability to communicate at all levels of the organization including physicians
• Self directed and functions independently.
