The Opportunity:
Saint Luke's on the Plaza is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) Clinical Scheduling coordinator for our EP & Cath Labs.
The Shift:
This is a full-time day shift position working Monday through Friday work 4 9 hour shifts per week. The one day off per week is organized between team members.
The Work:
CV Schedulers complete all of the Cath lab and EP lab scheduling for across the system
Serves as an agent to improve customer service and provide a layer of safety throughout the scheduling process.
Delegates tasks appropriately.
Responsible for all training of new employees in this area.
Responsible for customer service and safety in scheduling for CV procedures throughout SLHS. Assesses, develops a scheduling plan, reviews that plan with the multidisciplinary team and implements the plan for scheduling, ensuring the patient is scheduled at the correct location, and the correct day and time.
Utilizes the Appropriate Use Criteria for all imaging modalities for the selection of the correct imaging study.
Participates regularly in the evaluation of the scheduling process to ensure the patient is placed in the safest environment possible.
Evaluates resources needed to safely perform the designated procedure requiring advanced clinical knowledge, critical thinking and communication skills.
Previous CV or EP nursing experience strongly preferred
Must be detail orientated able to multi-task be organized and have strong chart review skills
Ability to communicate at all levels of the organization including physicians
Self directed and functions independently.
