About Hedrick Medical Center:
Located in north central Missouri, Hedrick Medical Center is a Joint Commission-accredited 25 bed critical access hospital that has cared for area communities since 1888. The state-of-the-art facility opened in February 2014 and serves as a regional referral center for Livingston County and eight surrounding counties. The hospital was awarded the prestigious 2019 Guardian of Excellence Award by Press Ganey for reaching the 95th percentile for clinical quality.
The 25-bed acute care hospital offers comprehensive care, including a 24-hour emergency department staffed by board-certified physicians, inpatient and outpatient diagnostic testing, a spacious maternity unit, a Women's Center featuring 3-D mammography, inpatient and outpatient surgery, inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation services, an Intensive Care Unit featuring eICU, a specialty clinic, and primary care offices adjoining the facility.

Chillicothe lies in the heart of a rich agricultural section of the state and is the largest community in north central Missouri. Known as the Home of Sliced Bread, Chillicothe’s population as of the 2010 census is 9,515, although the community has continued to experience steady growth. Chillicothe is located in Livingston County, which has a population of 15,037. Chillicothe is located 90 miles northeast of Kansas City and at the intersection of U.S. Highways 36 & 65.
