The Opportunity:

Anderson County Hospital is Garnett, KS is seeking a Lead Patient Access Representative to join our team. The Patient Access Lead is a senior person in an office environment and accountable for maintaining a professional work environment, staff training, on-site supervision, and administrative support.  The Patient Access Lead will implement process at the direction of the Patient Access Manager to ensure compliance with all applicable rules and guidelines.  The Patient Access Lead has responsibility to ensure shift coverage is organized and complete.  This position does support the Community Hospital by being on-call to support the Patient Access staff.   The Patient Access Lead will take a lead role in reviewing staff productivity and quality as well as ordering supplies, and balancing cash drawers. Will also do functions of Patient Access staff.       

3 years' experience with hospital or physician review cycle experience with patient registration, scheduling, insurance verification, claims, follow up, denials, payment variance, payment posting, or customer service and experience in team leadership roles may be substituted in lieu of Associate's Degree.

• Cash Drawer responsibility
