Job Description​

This position manages the Revenue Integrity section of the CBO, which includes coding and auditing, education and other revenue integrity activities.  The purpose of this position is to supports Physicians, APPs and other billable providers by providing education on documentation and coding to the highest level of service being rendered for our 1,000+ physician enterprise.  Serves throughout the revenue cycle, operations, and IT as it relates to charge capture, charge accuracy, documentation, denial prevention, and charge reconciliation while maximizing revenue and compliance in accordance with all federal, state, and local regulations.  Develops an ongoing audit and education schedule in accordance with compliance, regulatory and benchmarking needs.

The Manager is responsible to be a subject matter expert in the assigned revenue cycle area.  Evaluates effectiveness of processes and makes process improvements.  Ensures that the revenue cycle and CBO is effectively staffed and processing work to the highest quality standards and ethics while maximizing revenue.  The Manager is responsible to ensure successful outcomes by training, leading, inspiring, coaching, mentoring and motivating all staff.  The Manager ensures effective quality and productivity programs are in place, is responsible for ongoing budgeting process, ensuring goals and initiatives are being met and on time.  Schedules and leads meetings with peers, staff, payors and vendors.  The Manager ensures vendors are being managed, goals are set and being met.  Responsible for hiring, developing and evaluation of staff.  Establishes policies and procedures, including process documents.  Develops programs, establishes and maintains efficient operations.  Analyzes and monitors data to drive continuous improvements in the revenue cycle.  Assists in establishing and monitoring quality assurance programs, this position fosters the integration of the organizations vision and values and accomplishes the mission and strategic plan through an accountable work team.

This is a telecommuting position and includes a bonus program.

Important To Note:

  • Required: Certified Coder and Auditing certifications: CPC or CCS, CPMA or CEMA

  • Significant experience and/or certifications may substitute in lieu of degree.
