Saint Luke’s Health System Endocrinology Clinics are looking for a Medical Assistants (Certified or Non Certified) to be an integral part of our provider team that delivers high quality patient-centered medical care to our community. This position is responsible for assisting providers in the evaluation, management and delivery of professional medical care in a busy multi-specialty or primary care physician practice. This position is full time Monday-Friday no weekends and with no holidays. Position is typically day hours (8am-5pm).
Hiring for the Overland Park, KS location.
Specific duties include:
· Provide an excellent patient experience by managing the flow of patients, providing excellent customer service, establishing rapport with patients and maintaining a professional demeanor.
· Conduct Pre-visit plans, room patients and obtain vitals
· Phlebotomy as needed
· Administer injections and coordinate vaccines
· Assist providers with procedures
· Utilize the EMR system and scan/download documents
· Complete various administrative tasks as needed such as prior authorizations, RX refills, etc.
· Conduct telephone screening (with protocols)
· Cover front office responsibilities as needed
· Travel between Saint Luke’s clinic locations is required when needed (mileage eligible)
