Job Description​

Provides 3rd level support for voice/video networks telecommunications infrastructures based on Cisco technology (CUCM, UCCX, Unity Connection, VCS, Expressway, Jabber, Webex, CUBE for SIP, and MGCP voice gateways). Participates in projects. Performs complex troubleshooting and problem resolution including proactive investigation of current issues. Serves as telecommunications infrastructure project lead. Works on complex assignments. Maintains enterprise data and voice networks and telecom infrastructure standards and procedures. Prepares and maintains technical documentation to assist with ongoing operation, maintenance and development of the telecommunications infrastructure. Known as a SME for Cisco telecommunications tools, products, and processes. Maintains certifications as appropriate for evolving network/telecom needs. Provides guidance and training for and mentors junior staff. Demonstrates working knowledge and utilization of Process Improvement change management. Effective in a team establishing positive relationships with vendors, peers, and customers. Bachelor’s degree in IS or a similar field or comparable work experience required.  Cisco certification desired (e.g., CCNA, CCNP-Collaboration).
