Job Description​

As an Occupational Health Nurse Supervisor for our fast paced Employee Health Clinic you will have the opportunity to provide system wide solutions, build out a diverse team, and develop others. This team supports Human Resources as a partner with onboarding new hires weekly while serving as a care provider for the various employees within the Saint Luke’s Health system. This is an unpredictable fast paced, challenging environment with various tasks and responsibilities every day. This is a high visibility working supervisor position with a lot of opportunity and autonomy. You will need to bring a team together to implement and create new ideas, promote collaboration and a customer focused culture to meet the needs of our internal clients.

As the Supervisor, Employee Health you will be responsible for:

  • Planning, organizing, supervising, coordinating and evaluating the day-to-day operations of the SLHS Employee Health metropolitan clinic location.
  • Provide first line care for new hires and existing employees.
  • Collaborates with various teams across the system to identify solutions.
  • Assist with training, mentoring, and developing of staff.
  • Provides counseling and evaluation of the Employee Health staff.
  • Does scheduling, assignments, and task delegation within the Employee Health Nursing team.  
  • Provides front line occupational health care for SLHS employees and new hire candidates.
  • Organizes staff orientation and provides development opportunities.  
  • Ensures consistency with Employee Health policies, procedures and practices for the metro Employee Health clinic.  
  • Assists the Director with administrative responsibilities and special projects.
  • Creates and maintains data tracking and reporting, and is an engaged participant in strategic planning for Employee Health along with the Director.
  • Serves as a clinical resource and point person for Employee Health within the team and organization. 
  • Assists the team with fit testing, drug tests, phlebotomy, vaccinations, triage, accommodation management, assessments and more.
