Job Description​

PACS Analyst II position which supports the daily operations of the Picture Archive Communication System (PACS), associated applications and participate in projects. Works collaboratively with the PACS Administrator, the PACS analyst will perform system administration, end user support and training. Supports the design and implementation of upgrades to the PACS system within Saint Luke’s Heath System, primarily supporting the Saint Luke’s South Imaging Department.. The PACS analyst will responds to issues, conduct end user training as needed and work with Subject Matter Experts to support build design.  This will include, but not limited to, making decisions on system build content and determining appropriate documentation. Prepares workflow models and procedures to assist in problem analysis and submits recommendations for solution to meet user needs. Prepares and maintains technical documentation to guide system users and assist with the ongoing operation maintenance and development of the system. Modifies features supplied by off the shelf system and works with vendors as needed on technical requests. Collaborates with users to coordinate and develop test plans tests application software to assure accuracy integrity interoperability and completeness to achieve desired results. Understands and abides by change control documentation. This position requires technical PACS experience and/or clinical radiology experience.
