Job Description​

This position will post payments for Home Care and Hospice and make sure each month is balanced with Accounting. It will work with  our external company (companies) to send payments to them and make sure they balance every month. Will take Credit Card payments over the phone from patients and make sure they  get receipts or confirmation numbers. They will maintain a daily spreadsheet of all payments received. The person will process all mail coming to the Billing Department of Home Care and Hospice and pas out to the correct person. They will help will copying Medical Records and faxing to insurance companies. They will balance the accounts and payments for/from the Collection Agency. The will process invoices from outside agencies that go to the Home Care and to the Hospice Directors. Send denial letters for invoices that are not approved for payment. Other duties as assigned.
