The Pharmacy Reimbursement Specialist under the direction of the Director of Infusion and Specialty Pharmacy receives initial referral information determines and obtains the appropriate funding for each episode through insurance verification and authorization Medicare and Medicaid eligibility checks and verifying that criteria are met for reimbursement. Will work with Intake and clinical staff to verify self pay or liability reimbursements and will be responsible for referral data entry into system. Will also assist with coordination of refill and monthly patient management for adherence and processing prescription claims as necessary.
This position will be a Monday-Friday full-time position. Hours are 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
